hi,

after a recent build of Windows 10. i'm recieving the error 0cx00012f when trying to start Adobe indesign, also shockwave flash is not working in Chrome (edge isnt working as well, but pfffffft )

windows 10 installed with system restore defaulting to off, so I cant go back. I cant uninstall secuity updates because of this, I cant run many other apps to clear this error.

the only thing left to try is to do a fresh install of windows 10, butttttttttttttttttttt....... I bought this PC (from a store) about 3 years ago (lenovo) with Adobe Mastersuite cs5 preinstalled.

if i reload windows, i will lose all my adobe suite. how can i find my serial key or something like that to redownload it afterwards and register it properly?

sad, dont want to lose my adobe suite.

help me OB1, you're my  only hope

ok, done that, its given me software license numbers for CS5, should that be the number i can put in as a serial number on the "register an older product" serial number page?

Find your Adobe product serial number quickly

    try running Belarc Advisor

    http://www.belarc.com/free_download.html

If you purchased the machine with software preinstalled then the seller should have provided some means of recovering/reinstalling the software.  You should check with them.

    Thanks for the reply Ned,

its the third option you mentioned, it was pre-installed on the machine, and the Computer shop I bought it from is no longer in existance

I can still open photoshop and several of the other products in the master suite, is there any way I can find the registration code in them?
