I am trying to install on new desktop, and get error(-1) code. I did have this on old laptop, but it quit working. Please help

Amyjoan50 I am sorry but I don't have any experience with attempting to run Creative Suite 5 in a virtual box. You will want to make sure that the applications have access to the necessary video drivers. This can often be an issue when trying to run a virtual OS.

You may also want to check with the Ubuntu or Virtual Box community to see if others have had success trying to install using Virtual Box.

Amyjoan50 what operating system are you using? Did you transfer or copy any files from your old computer to the new computer? Are you reinstalling Creative Suite 5 from your installation media?

Thanks for helping! No I didn't transfer or copy any files. I am installing on my new desktop from the installation cd. Have good product key code, etc. I have Linux (Ubuntu) and in Virtual Box, run Windows 7 and Windows 8. Cannot get it to work in any of them. Thanks for your help, looking forward to hearing from you.
