Error 107 During AE Trial Download; Troubleshooting Continues to Fail

I've tried everyone's suggestions and all attempts continue to fail.  Does anyone know whether the age of the Mac matters?  I have a 2006 MacBook Pro.  In the System Software Overview, the 64-bit Kernel and Extensions line says "No".  Is the age of my Mac the issue?  What versions of AE will run on older Macs?  Thank you.

Hi There - Thanks.  It's definitely 107.  It happens during Download Assistand.  I've tried every troubleshooting suggestion (including the link you sent, sorry) as well as multiple browsers.  As an experiment, I tried to download a different software package (Master Suite) and it let me (but I stopped it -- 26 hour download on my rural connection.)

Try downloading it on website of pirated and if it worked.

Due to this error I found other ways to download it.

MacBook Pro (Late 2006) had Intel Core 2 Duo, which would let AE work.

Can you confirm the error which you get is it during download because Error 107 is related to Adobe Download Assistant. If so below link would help and can alos try to download AE using another browser.

Thanks very much.

The download assistant doesn't care about your system specs. You'd only notice that once you attempt to install. the files are simply hosted on a crappy part of the server farm/ CDN. Try this and see if it works.
