Okay so I have a very confusing problem, and I would be very grateful if someone can help me out. To avoid any confusion, I will begin from the very beginning.

When I was a student I purchased Production Premium CS5.5 for Mac with my student email address. However, after I graduated I changed my laptop and my email address was not available anymore. So to to reinstall the Production Premium CS5.5 for Mac I had to prove it was me to gain my key number which I did not have anymore.

Anyways, I was able to reinstall my Production Premium CS5.5 for Mac to my new laptop and use it just fine, even if it was giving me trouble from time to time like quitting all off a sudden. I am a saver every second so it was annoying but not a problem.

Few weeks ago, my younger sister needed Dreamweaver for a homework and she installed it to my MacBook Pro. What I didn't realize at the time was she did it under her own Adobe Cloud account. She canceled the subscription after a month because she was done with the homework. These were all background information.

As for the problem I am currently having, I was trying to edit a video on Premiere Pro CS 5 and when I wanted to render my work area it kept giving errors and quitting without letting me save my work. At one time, during many retries it said I was having error 16 and I had to uninstall my software and reinstall it.

To do this I signed in my Adobe account with my second email and tried to view my key number and purchases, but when I entered the key number it said it was already registered to an account.

So this brings me few questions?

- If I uninstall the Production Premium CS5.5 for Mac, can I even reinstall the product with the key number I have in my possession? (I still have my old case number and email about acquiring the key number)

- Am I having troubles like this because one Mac Book Pro had two Adobe accounts and software installed from these two separate accounts?

- Am I just having problems because Production Premium CS5.5 for Mac is no longer usable?

- Is it possible to upgrade my CS5.5 software?

- Can I have both my Production Premium CS5.5 for Mac and free trials of new versions?

- Can this be simple storage problem? Because I have less then 1 GB space left?

P.S. Sorry for the long and complicated problem.

as long as you have the serial number and matching installation file, yes.

- Am I having troubles like this because one Mac Book Pro had two Adobe accounts and software installed from these two separate accounts?

you'll see an excess activation count if that were a problem, but the cc subscription is unrelated to your cs5.5 license

- Am I just having problems because Production Premium CS5.5 for Mac is no longer usable?

it's usable, but you need a compatible (ie older) os.

- Is it possible to upgrade my CS5.5 software?

you can start a cc subscription but that won't be discounted because of your cs5.5 license, https://creative.adobe.com/plans

- Can I have both my Production Premium CS5.5 for Mac and free trials of new versions?

yes, but that's already expired on the computer that had a previous trial

- Can this be simple storage problem? Because I have less then 1 GB space left?

if you're trying to install the entire suite, yes.  you need 8 times that much for installation, Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 Design Standard release notes
