Error 1935 Prevents Installation of PSE 6 on Windows 10

I tried twice to install PSE 6 on my new Windows 10 computer using by original disk.

Each time I was stopped by Error 1935. I am running Windows 10 Ver. 21H1.

The link below suggests that others have done so successfully as recently as Sept 2021.

Should I keep trying over and over again in the hope that the next attempt will work?

Elements 6 from 2007 is ancient, discontinued & unsupported. I doubt very much that you can install it on Win10. It's too old.

PS Elements 2022, approx $100, no subscription needed.

At a month shy of 82, slick new software is of less interest to me than running something I know how to use.
Life is too short to change for the sake clever ways to do what I do regularly.

I'll take my perfectly functional Win7 machine off the Web to protect it from viral attacks and use it for PSE 6.
