Error 206 while trying to install Substanace painter

Hello,

I’ve purchase a substance 3d painter subscription a few weeks ago.
With the aid of this web instructions and the AI I have been through all indepth steps to just install creative cloud.
I have deactivated antivirus and firewalls, I have connected the pc through my phone with data and router turned off, I have erased and renamed all the hidden folders, I have passed all the dobe uninstallers and cleaners, I have tried to directly download and install 3d painter through windows console or just connecting to adobe.com website. NONE OF IT WORKS ON MY PC.

So another thing I’ve tried is to download the substance painter package through my phone to bypass the CC installation process, hopefully to not need to connect with adobe servers.
The good news, the website actually works on my phone, so the problem is not my internet or my router. But the other problem is, that I cannot download the 3d painter .zip on my phone because it says that the app is for PC. So it only lets me to send myself a link that sends me towards a 404 page.

This is my last chance before cancel my subscription and trying to go through steam.

I purchased the subscription and I couldn’t use it. I request an offline installer or a solution that really works.

Thank you for the detailed update, Ambitious_magic

I understand how frustrating this is, particularly after purchasing Substance 3D Painter and being unable to use it.

Your test with the tablet is helpful. You were able to connect to https://adobe.ly/4iscX2T, download, and install the application there, while the affected PC still shows Error 206 and cannot verify the subscription after installation.

I can confirm that Error 206 occurs when the device can't connect to Adobe servers:

Since you've already completed the recommended troubleshooting, please get in touch with us so we can take a closer look:

    It doesn’t work.

I have tried to directly download the app in a tablet pc I have at home and it connected perfectly to adobe.com, I could download the app no problem, I could install it on the tablet pc, open it and reach the point were the app says me that it doesnt detect my integrated graphics card. I could try to fix it but is not my intention to work on the tablet pc. It was just a test to know if my router is giving me trouble or my account is banned. So is not.

When I copied the installer in a usb and pasted on my pc, I could install the app, but at opening it it says me that my subscription cannot be veryfied and gives me a 12015 error.

I could install and open the steam app without any problem. I’m keeping using the steam version instead.

    Thanks for your time.
