Question

Error 22 on a disk that is not case sensitive

I am trying to install Creative Cloud on a Macbook Air 2015 running Monterey. I keep getting Error 22 "Installation on case sensitive volumes is not supported". But my disk on my computer is not case sensitive. How do I get Adobe to realize this? I know I've seen other folks have had to reformat their drives in order to install it but it would MUCH rather not do that. Especially since my SSD is currently not case sensitive. Please help y'all!

It applies to the system disk. You can't escape the requirement by installing the apps to a different disk.

Jessicar, does the drive APPLE SSD SM0512G Media contain the operating system?  As Test Screen Name responded, the Creative Cloud desktop app and its shared components will always be installed on the drive that contains the operating system.

Error Code 22 has historically been accurate; if you are sure that the drive containing the operating system is not using a case-sensitive file system, then we would need to look at more exotic causes of the error.

Can you provide more information about the history of this 2015 MacBook Air?  Has Adobe software or services ever been used on this computer?  If so, what software title and versions?
