Error A12E1 Installing Creative Cloud Packager

I have run this app before to create packeges, but now it forces an update and fails as above.  I have tried this on a clean build win7pro(64b and 32b), server 2008 and server 2003

I get the same error no matter what I do, run as admin etc.

Yes I have the correct certificates

No, I cannot uninstall anything as its a clean build with just windows installed.

No there is no AV or Firewall running (for reasons as above)

I can see everyone has this issue but no resolution.

Any ideas?

well after trying for days, adobe had not once enabled the online chat so the search continued.

I fixed the issue in the end by doing this.

I ran the cc launcher and once it had errored out, I left it at the error screen and copied out the install files from here c:\users\accountname\appdata\local\CreateCloudPackager\  when you close the cclauncher app it deletes this folder.

I then just ran setup from the copied folder and it worked perfectly

Anyone find a solution to this? Adobe? I'm trying to install and after i enter the admin password on my oc, installation crashes and error code: A12E1 comes up. Cant install the CC package as a result.

In case it helps anyone else, what was preventing CCP from running for me when I tried to run it recently was a new VPN software client that and some endpoint protection features that we were interfering with its operation.

The software in question was Fortinet Forticlient 5.4.1.0840.

Once this software was disabled it worked as previous.

Cheers!

none of those options would work.  I cannot uninstall what is not installed.  I have the same error on clean builds that have nothing more than stock windows.
