Error: Cannot install to root path

On my laptop I have 2 drives C: & 😧

My C: is full, so I want to start using the D:, but I get this error message when I try to install

Reasons Why?

Create a Folder in 'D' and give the path for it. It works...

Years later, gotta create a new folder and then select it.  Can't just use the drive.

Not sure why nobody knows. That's exactly what the error message clearly says... at least, that's how programmers see the world.

What are you trying to install?  While it can depend what you are trying to install, all Adobe programs usually require some portion to be installed on the main drive, such as the application manager or the desktop manager as a minimum.
