Hi,

I have been having troubles too lately, not able to start Creative Clouds. Uninstalled it. Now i can't even reinstall it anymore (error 1) Not great when you need to deliver work Windows 10 here.

I tried the failed-install-creative-cloud-desktop process as well, no luck!

thanx

Correct answer Jerophoto

I am sorry Jerophoto but I have no additional suggestions.  If you are being prompted to install Visual C++ Redistributables, and also have to reinstall the Creative Cloud desktop app, after every reboot then that is not normal behavior.

If you have already reviewed the settings for any security software, system optimizers and/or utilities then I don't have any additional suggestions.

You are welcome to contact our support team directly at Contact Customer Care but from the description you can resolve the error after each reboot.  It is what is occurring when you reboot that is damaging the installation.

Hi,

My solution was a Windows 10 fresh reinstall. It works all fine now.

Thanks for your help.

Branching to a new discussion and moving the discussion to the Creative Cloud Download & Install forum.

Jerophoto I would recommend you remove and reinstall the Adobe Creative Cloud desktop application using the steps listed at "Failed to install" error received when installing Adobe Creative Cloud desktop app.  If you have any questions, or encounter additional errors, you are welcome to update this discussion.

Jerophoto were you able to locate the OOBE folder successfully?  Did you receive any error messages after you download and ran the Creative Cloud desktop app uninstaller utility?
