Error Code 102 in Photoshop 2025 — Can’t Launch the App Even with Active License
I’m having a persistent issue with Photoshop 2025 on macOS. Every time I try to open the app, I get an error window that says:
“An error has occurred in Photoshop; it needs to be closed. Use reference code 102.”
I’ve tried everything I could find, including:
My Creative Cloud account is active and licensed (I also bought Illustrator).
Internet is working.
System date/time and certificates are correct.
Reinstalled Photoshop several times.
Gave Photoshop Full Disk Access in macOS settings.
Used the Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool.
No firewall or antivirus issues.
Logged out/in and restarted Creative Cloud.
The same problem with Illustrator. Nothing has worked so far. I contacted Adobe Support in my country, but they haven’t helped me resolve the issue. I urgently need Photoshop for work and feel very stuck, despite paying for everything.
Has anyone experienced this and found a solution?
