Error Code 117 Adobe won't update

Tried the "fix" steps from Adobe and it didn't work. Tech support also could not resolve the issue! What gives? This is unnacceptable on a subscription software!

    I had a similar issue.

    Make sure that you have all Windows updates that are available.

    The one thing that was causing it for me, believe it or not, was that I needed to do a clean installation of the latest Studio graphics driver from the NVIDIA website. After doing that and restarting, all was OK.

    I did try most of your suggestions including updating Windows and Nvidia drivers...Didn't work!

    I did not try starting Windows in safe mode with networking since that seems like a huge PAIN for every update! I guess I will try that now and see what happens.
