Error code 145 doesn't tell me what to move.

I can't trust the update procedure to be able to reimport my previously working version settings after the auto update seems to decide it can't write over the old directory.  With > 140K photos in my system, and all the logs and suchlike available, and a total inability to run it or any new, OR old version of it on my system now... I am not happy.  Is there any way someone from Adobe can manually do all the file transfers/renaming via a remote app to justify my continued expense for this system?
