Error code 214

Trying to download the the Creative cloud on my Mac mini however when double click on the installer it gets around half way through and the gives me the error code 214 and that it encountered an issue with genuine software validation an that it is counterfeit! I have tried downloading from safari and chrome and with and without firewall on. I am logging into my account which I am the administrator and selecting Creative Cloud download, it downloads the installer and then just the same error code each time. I have had the suite on this mac but recently reset it back to factory settings. Any help would be great. ty

disable your firewall/av and anything else that might be interrupting your download and use a different browser.  then use this link https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud to download the cc desktop app.

So tried again with my firewall off and following the link and again gets to around half way through the adobe installer and this time i got an Error code 201

error 201 is from an interrupted download.

use a different wired connection and/or a different browser and/or a download manager.
