Error during install

Did a fresh iOS install on my wifes MacBook Pro. When reinstalling Photoshop elements 13 from the orginal CD I got the error "Install" needs to updated.

Current iOS is Catalina 10.15.7

You're out of luck.  Elements 13 is 9 years old.  It won't run a modern Mac computer unless you run an old OS on a virtual machine like Parallels for Mac (80 Euros/year).

 

For the same or less money, you could buy Elements 2022.

As far as I know, that VERY old program won't work on Catalina... but see below

 

Apple did not maintain backward compatibility, so try this to install old programs
