Error installing Premiere Elements 10 on Mac OS X 10.8.2

I purchased Premiere Elements 10 about a year ago and used it on my windows computer, and I recently bought a new iMac. So I planned on putting the software on the computer and everything work like the serial number, login, etc. until I got to the installation part on the setup. It would install up to about 50% then the disk would eject and an error would come up saying:

I repeated the process a couple times and got the same error. I googled this and other people have the same problem too, they were saying to install the trial of Premiere Elements 10 online and just type in the serial number. But my problem is that Premiere Elements 11 is out and I can't find the trial version of Premiere Elements 10. I did try putting the serial number in the Premiere Elements 11 trial also, and it didn't work. I'm really disappointed becuase I was very satisfied with the software and I do not want to have to buy Premiere Elements 11. So if there is anyway to fix this please help me.
