Error message 2 installing cs4

Question

I just updated my system to Mac OS Yosemite and AfterEffects CS4 wouldn't render, giving me the error message of Error 2.  So I uninstalled the program thinking that any problem would be solved by reinstalling the whole Adobe suite.  Now it wont install giving me the same error message of Error 2.  Someone please tell me how to fix this so I can use the version of AfterEffects I've been using for many years.  Thanks

Hmm... problem seems clear to me... you fixed something that wasn't broken, and now it IS broken

Old programs and updating the operating system is a very bad mix... as you have discovered

I know of no solution if you want to keep that operating system
