I just bought the entire creative cloud plan. I can install it, about 50% through installation 2 error messages pop up. They also popup after installation is complete and when I try to run the program. I have uninstalled this app so many times and reinstalled it. I have tried to repair it. I have updated everything on my laptop and TO NO AVAIL.

Here is the error messages

"The code execution cannot proceed because VCRUNTIME140.dll was not found. Restinstalling the program may fix this problem"

"The code execution cannot proceed because MSVCP140.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem."

I am so frustrated because I dont understand any of what that is saying and I have looked at the error codes in the help page and noone of those have helped my case. It doesnt help that customer service isnt available on weekeds so I am SOL on updating my portfolio until I can use these apps. SIGH

@penelope.re,

MS = Microsoft

VCP = Visual C++ Processing

.dll = library file

Get the latest Windows updates from Microsoft.  Updates usually contain latest Visual C++ Runtime library.

https://learn.microsoft.com/cpp/windows/latest-supported-vc-redist?view=msvc-170

In order to use Creative Cloud, your computer should meet or exceed current system requirements.  Most Creative Cloud apps work on:

  • Windows 11 (64-bit), Windows 10 versions 22H2, 21H2, 21H1 (earlier versions are not supported.)
  • MacOS 13 (Ventura), 12 (Monterey), macOS 11 (Big Sur).

Hope that helps.

That is a Microsoft problem, so you need a Microsoft solution
Go to the Search bar at the top of http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/ to find and re-install the C runtime, or for ALL Windows help
-or direct to https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/2977003/the-latest-supported-visual-c-downloads

THANK YOU

Why does this all have to be so complex. Went to download, they didn't download then it directed me to go into the control panel. Apparently I had to delete older versions of the cruntime and the other one, THEN repair the current ones in the control panel. Again, thank you lots
