Hello,

I have been having trouble with photoshop since I started paying for it in January (error P206). I had trouble with downloading it then and I am having trouble with it now. Error P206 again. I have gone thru every support thread I can find and I know that I have access to the activation servers because I followed one of the guides.

Resolve connection errors with Adobe Creative Cloud and Creative Suite applications

I am not getting the logos but I am getting the "Pong" message.

I am frustrated and just want to use photoshop.

Hi Camzoin',

Sorry to know that you are unable to install your Adobe CC apps as it fails with error code P206. And, thanks for sharing the steps you have already tried to resolve this issue.

When you followed the steps given here Resolve connection errors with Adobe Creative Cloud and Creative Suite applications did you see any Adobe related entries in the host's file? If yes, then did you manually reset the host's file?

Do you have any of the following installed on your machine: anti-virus, system firewall, system optimizer, internet security & browser security software, browser security add-ons? If yes, then please turn them off for the time being.

Now follow the steps given in the below thread to manually remove the Creative Cloud desktop app from your machine:

Win: Photoshop Installation Failed

Mac: illustrator reinstalling free trial 1 day old!

After this reinstall, the desktop app from direct download links given here: Download Creative Cloud desktop app

Let us know if this helps.
