Error P81 while reinstalling Creative Cloud

I am having problems reinstalling Adobe Creative Cloud desktop App in MacOS (latest Version pf MacOS).

The error I get is  "Another installer is currently running, Which must be closed before installing this product. Please close or wait for other installers to Complete. (Error Code: P81)"

I have tried to search in Activity monitor for any installers, services or even Adobe processes but to no avail.

I also tried to reboot and try to install CC from safe mode.

I tried to follow forum advices here, and none worked for me.

Any ideas?

    What happened was that I tired to reinstall CC desktop app when photoshop CC kept crashing couple of times. instead of restarting the system, which I do most of the time, I opted for reinstalling CC app altogether, because I thought it could fix some other issues like services like acrobat not showing in the list. I didn't install any other app prior to this, for weeks. I think I might have tried to click on the CC installer multiple times, because CC installer was not responding at first. Then, after some minutes, p81 message started  to show.

    But I did my due diligence in removing any adobe sounding process or installation processes and services from Activity monitor, and also removed Adobe folders ( as suggested by forums) to help the processes stop after every reboot. None of that worked todate.

    My MacOS Version is the latest - Mojave (10.14.4).

    I believe the current errors stem from the approach of attempting to reinstall Photoshop and the Adobe Creative Cloud desktop application instead of uninstalling them first.  As a next step please implement the steps listed How to fix the "Failed to install" error when installing Adobe Creative Cloud desktop app to reinstall the Creative Cloud desktop app.  Please update this public forum discussion if you have any questions on the three solutions listed.

      Hi Ged,

      Thankyou for your replay and links to try to solve the issue.

      I have already removed PDApp . Its under OODB folder which I renamed to OODB-old. From what I gathered, OODB is a folder used by a running installer.  So, that didn't work for me in the end.

      I think the issue could be in one of those obscurely named processes in Activity monitor, which still run eventhough I rebooted my Mac frequently in hopes that installer processes won't start again the next time I reboot.

      Is there any way to check/to have list of running installer processes by adobe, not named in obvious ways, like adobe or installer?
