Error messages trying to Update using Adobe Updater:

    Issue solved.

    I fund I had downloaded the latest updates back in 2018.

    These installed wwthout any problems.

    reset the cc desktop app: make sure it's in the foreground, then press:

    Win: Ctrl + Alt + R
    Mac: Cmd + Opt + R
