i currently have an iMac & iPad - educational license. I’m thinking of adding a laptop to my equipment. Does the iPad count as the second copy of the software, or can I use it on all 3?

The iPad does not count as a license grabber. Nor does the phone.

All iPad applications are specially designed applications for mobile devices. Even that there is a kind of communication path in between, the applications are only by name ralated to the desktop application. This may be good or bad. But it’s like that. The good news is that the CC all apps subscription also includes all the premium apps on an iPad. There is no special subscription to be taken.

You will be able to install the programs to even more than 2 computers. However, only 2 computers can be signed-in at the same time. There is no difference between MacOS or Windows, except those imposed by the OS.

You posted in the CS6 and earlier Creative Suites forum... is that what you mean, or do you have a Creative Cloud subscription?

I have a current subscription. Since the upgrades now happen automatically, I have no idea what version I’m using - I just use it.

I do not have an ipad but my understanding is that it uses special mobile apps, not the full programs... so you are OK to add a 2nd full computer
