I have this same error come up on a new Macbook pro with High Sierra 10.13.4. Lightroom installs but Photoshop come up with "unable to create the symbolic link" Has anyone found a way to fix this. I've tried uninstalling the cleaning and restarting and it just won't work.

Holy crap I fixed it. I went in to /Library/Colorsync/Profiles and then deleted the Recommended folder. Then when photoshop tried to install it started it's own new Recommended folder and it installed no problems. I hope that works for everyone.
