Export from File Manager

Hi there,

Our new website is now set up on a new platform now that BC is going to be defunct soon. Does anyone know how I can export all the files from File Manager and store them on my PC? We couldn't migrate the data across, and we don't have a very comprehensive structure to where we stored all the files initially! Thought it'd be easier to export them all and upload onto the new website manually.

Ideas?

hello Danielle,

without wanting to play with words, there is some confusion in your request.

you ask about exporting files from filemanager, except you seem to want to do it to your PC.

usually we talk about exporting to remote servers, or importing to your PC.

Anyway, the two operations allow a synchronization between two machines, a remote, a local and this in the direction you want.

first create a site locally on your machine, then fill in the dialog box concerning the site and its server

you can then synchronize your remote and local sites from the filemanger, in the way you want
