I am currently working in CC 2018, so I want to install the latest version of  ExtendScript as well.
The version ExtendScript I was trying to install was CS6

But it seems to me that  ExtendScript is not appearing in the creative cloud app when i search for it.

I currently work on a Imac. Version 10.12.06, Sierra.

As you have mentioned you would like to download Adobe Extendscript Toolkit CC, you may do that using your Creative Cloud desktop app.

Please launch your CC desktop app and go to settings wheel in the top right corner > Click 'Preferences' > Click 'Creative Cloud' > now click the check box for 'Show older apps'

Now go back to apps list and you should be able to see the  Adobe Extendscript Toolkit CC listed under it, click 'install'.

To download and install Adobe Extendscript Toolkit CS6 use the following link: Download Adobe Creative Suite 6 applications.

Once downloaded follow the steps given here to install it: Installing Creative Suite on macOS 10.12 (Sierra).

Hope this helps.

Hi Camillal51057008,

As you have mentioned you are unable to install Adobe ExtendScript as it fails with an error message saying that there is some file missing.

Would request you please share the exact error message or a screen shot of the error window with us? See:FAQ: How do I capture and post a screen shot or video?

Also let us the know the version of Adobe ExtendScript you are trying to install, along with your computer's operating system and its version.

Awaiting your response.
