Received update notice and ran the updater for the Extension Manager CC it turned with an error of U44M1P34 and contact support. Which the automated system fails to offer help for the Extension Manager. Signing out of Creative Cloud and relauching fails to clear the problem. All efforts to install the Extension Manager CC end with same error code.  No way of finding a solution or contacting support!

I finally got to speak to someone at Adobe, who knew how to fix this problem. Error Code u44m1p34 in Adobe Extension Manager CC.

On a windows & 64-bit computer:

Steps taken were first remove the Adobe Extension Manager CC and then reboot computer. At restart, reinstall Adobe Extension Manager, you will still get the same error message, so don't worry. You open up My computer and find your "C"  Drive. Open to

C:/ProgramData/Adobe/AAMUpdater/1.0 and send the 1.0 folder to the recycle bin. Then reboot your computer and at restart you will find that the Adobe Extension Manager CC has been updated. You can then empty the recycle bin and do a happy dance!

Very simple fix to a real headache!

Falsken please do not remove the C:\ProgramData\Adobe\AAMUpdater\1.0 folder.  This folder contains the update information for all of your installed Adobe software.  You can find more information under the Additional Information section of Updates repeatedly applied | CC.

At this point, it appears Adobe has no answers for the Error Code u44m1p34 in Adobe Extension Manager CC version 7.0.0.347 failing to update to version 7.2.1. The fix only removes the update notice and not actually updates the Extension Manager CC 7.0.0.347. The fix above came from Adobe Support, after 7 attempts to contact Adobe Support to fix the issue. It only removed the update notice and never fixed the problem. It took over 6 tries to get help from Adobe Support using chat and one phoning in to support, to get this half baked solution. One that didn't work after final analysis. Adobe Extension Manager CC failed to update as Adobe Support led me to believe. In launching the product, I found the Version Number stayed the same and it never updated. No one has a solution for this error code and no seems to even know what the error code means either. After, preforming the above fix at Adobe Support's direction. I found it a big waste of more of my time. It only cleared the update notice from Adobe Creative Cloud and failed to update to latest version 7.2.1 . I have 2 weeks into this mess, that Adobe created and I am no closer to getting a solid solution than when, I started. Again, removing the 1.0 folder only removed the update notice and failed to update to 7.2.1 Adobe Extension Manager CC. There is no direct link to contact Adobe for the Extension Manager CC it isn't even listed in the support window. One takes a big roll of the dice, when Adobe Staff toss you around to someone who thinks they have a solution, but in the end no one has a fix for this issue. There is a problem with the hand off in the code to the DB_media and that ends with fatal error and the install unable to complete. The hand-off is looking for more information in the DB_media file and it isn't finding it, so the error occurs. Why write error codes if no one knows what they mean or knows how to fix them? It is a joke ending the error message with Contact Adobe Support! Which in turns only offers you this forum for answers, due to no way to select the Adobe Extension Manager CC in the support window menu. Why only one of four computers has this problem, this is beyond my pay grade. I am left with a growing anger and no solutions! Why it took over 7 tries to contact Adobe for support and all ending in utter failure. Is a Big Disappointment!  A COMPLETE FAILURE ON ADOBE PART!

There is no fix or solution for Error Code u44m1p34 Adobe Extension Manager CC Version 7.0.0.347 - 1 fatal error(s), 0 error(s)

FATAL: Payload 'Adobe Extension Manager CC_7.2_AdobeExtensionManagerCCAll 8.0.0.15 {CD7B9A52-1FD4-4845-A950-A86BD27DEA06}' information not found in Media_db.

Clearly a problem in the actual file itself is preventing the program from updating!

I retried to do a clean install after removing folder 1.0 and that ended in the same error message. So, There Are No Solutions for ERROR CODE U44M1P34!

Falsken I would recommend checking your installation logs for the specific error which is causing the update failure.  You can find details on how to locate and interpret your installation log files at Troubleshoot install issues with log files | CC - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/troubleshoot-install-logs-cc.html.  You are welcome to post any specific errors you discover to this discussion.

I downloaded AdobeExtensionManagerCCall.zip from Adobe and tried to install using it. It failed returning fatal error that media couldn't be found in Media DB.  The same Error that, I found above and I never heard a word back from Adobe Support on this issue. Contacted Support using Live-Chat. Support person wouldn't even look up the Error Code and failed to forward request for help. Adobe was better than this years ago, now support is worst than Microsoft.
