I do not have enough space on my laptop, and I don't want to delete my stuff. Am I able to download the creative cloud apps onto an external hard drive?

Move your data file "stuff" to an external drive

As far as I know, the Windows registry will be damaged if you are able to install to an external drive, and you then disconnect that drive
