failed install photoshop PS23.XX

Question

Every time I try to install Photoshop frpm my account using Creative Cloud on my new IMAC I get a fail instll message that reads "some of the applicstion components are missing from thr application directory please reinstall the appilcation" I have done this 4 times and used different version of PS 23.XX. Please help also on OS 12.4

uninstall photoshop by first trying to use your cc app, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-remove-app.html

if that's not possible, use finder to find the photoshop installations and drag them to the trash. then empty your trash.

restart your computer

open the cc app and reset it by pressing
Cmd + Opt + R

install ps
