Failure re Photoshop 27.3 update.

Open in Creative Cloud (for downloading!) and I get this error message repeatedly:
“Photoshop will update later. Photoshop can't update while following processes are running: - Adobe Photoshop 2026…” etc.

My Photoshop App IS CLOSED! What is going on? Thanks!

@pdjt we just moved Community forums on Tuesday. This is why recent content is unavailable. Please see the Welcome annoucement at the top of this page.

I am sorry you are blocked from applying the update to Photoshop. Conflicting process updates are always accurate, if you have already tried the suggestions offerd by @Ged_Traynor of rebooting the computer then see https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install/apps/troubleshoot/download-failure/close-conflicting-processes.html for information on how to end the process so you can complete the update, @pdjt .

Thanks Ged. Yes, that would be one option to take. Though as I haven’t had this problem with every other single update in years, seems strange to now have this problem just now.

Also interesting that I found a post about this issue through a browser search, but Adobe won’t open the specific post! Call me a suspicious big tech cynic... the big boys don’t like problems made public. Here’s the post URL:
    https://community.adobe.com/t5/photoshop-beta-discussions/photoshop-beta-v-27-3-update-failed/td-p/15635540

Thanks again. If I may, I’ll post a previous query to which I received prescisely ZERO response, even though it was/is a reasonable and valid query! Funny old world… post-truth and all that!

Just opens the Community landing page!
