Failure to activate CS 6 Design Standard

Hi

We've purchased a total of 6 Adobe CS 6 Design Standard licenses in previous years and I'm now having a problem activating the software on a computer. The software was previously installed on the same computer but due to hardware failure some of the hardware components were swapped and now I can't activate the software. I have already uninstalling / reinstalling but it is still showing that Adobe Acrobat has a trial license and will expire in approx. 32000 days (although I believe it may expire in 30 days).

I noticed that although we purchased 6 licenses throught the academic TLP 5.0 scheme I can only retrieve 3 different serial numbers from the LWS website for use on Windows systems. Are we missing some serial numbers or should multiple computers be using the same serial number?

it depends.

if you bought individual versions, they each have a unique serial number and the serial number must match the installation file. if you purchased a volume license, you will have one license/serial number for the one volume installation file (which can be used for multiple installations on different computers).

if you purchased both, and you don't know which installation file and serial number goes with which serial number, you have a mess.

your acrobat may be ok and really expire in about 90 years you should leave it alone.

if you saw an "excess activation count" for any of your serial numbers, that can be fixed by contacting adobe support* and requesting an activation count reset. if you ask for anything else related to cs6, you will not be helped.

p.s. your old computer with new hardware is a "different" computer and will utilize an additional activation.
