I have tried to re-install Premiere Elements v12 on my iMac (running Yosemite 10.10.5) but the serial number page says "we are unable to validate this serial number". Yet it was purchased from Adobe UK and appears on my list of registered products. What can I do?

We would request you to try Error "The serial number is not valid for this product" | Creative Suite and let us know if this works for you.
Problem solved - it was an entry in my hosts file which prevented me authenticating my serial number with Adobe. Now I've removed the entry all is OK. Thanks for all the help and suggestions,.
