Feature request: No automatic opening of browser window when requesting download of adobe product updates

I don't know if all adobe products react the same way, but just yesterday I got a flash player notification popup in my windows 8.1 laptop, saying there is an update available.

I said yes, I want it and adobe opens up an annoying browser window and alll my 150 other tabs in that window also open up, that takes quite a long time and distrubs other maintenance processes that don't need browsers to update themselves.

This must not be, other applications from other companies manage to update a product without having to open a web browser window. There are numerous apps on the market that can manage without having to open browser windows to download updates, so why can't you guys from adobe do that the same way?

This is especially annoying, when installing or managing other software is also pending or already running and a opened browser window therefore interferes with that software, i.e. ccleaner from piriform.de and others not mentioned.

My questions and my wish for all installed/installable adobe products for future product updates is, can you please program your application popups in a way that I can

1. choose which installation mode I prefer (automatic download/manual download)

2. a markable box where I can select or deselect optional install of bloatware (currently mc afee scanner is pre-packaged if not deselected in the webpage)

3. a further popup or inline field in the original popup lets me choose to where I want the download to go (save as)

4. these options can be saved to a config file so I don't have to input them again and again

5. an internal link inside the app-popup is clickable, if I wish to got to the website (I mostly don't, however)

6. no more automatic browser calls!!!!!

Quite unclear to me, why I seem to be the first one to ask for this feature or why adobe doesn't manage to do what other companies do, making system maintenance easy for the admin and quitting unneccessary browser calls.

Please adobe, help me and get those unwanted browser calls out of your products.
