"File, Edit, View, etc."

My toolbar with "File, Edit, View, etc." at the top of the screen has disappeared. I have tried F9 and F8, but neither work. F8 on my computer is a microphone button, anyway.

    Try just the F (f) key.

    Also to make the F function keys work AS F Function keys you may need to hold down the Fn key also.
