File not found when doing a new save

I'm using Photoshop CC, i opened a picture i downloaded from my i cloud. i edited the picture and when i went to save it as a JPEG to my computer Photoshop gave me an error stating " file not found. check the file name and try again." . I tried saving it as PSD but i got the same error.  so i thought maybe i was doing something wrong, and i copied the image and started a new document in photoshop and pasted.  when i went to save this i got the same error. I noticed i got a message from my anti virus software that it blocked a photoshop application. i added photoshop to my controlled folder access but still didn't work. i completely shut of my antivirus and still no luck. has anyone else had this problem?
