Question

Fireworks CS6 (legacy software)

Hi - there does not seem to be a dedicated board for Fireworks so.. .posting here. Please let me know where I should post.

I bought CS6 in 2012. Nope... I don't have the license or disks or emails or anything.

When creative cloud was released, I migrated to that and started using Photoshop instead of Fireworks.

However I still need fireworks for some old legacy files. It has worked when needed for years.

Now however it has gone back to trial mode and wants to be activated.

It appears under my CC desktop app but I can't activate it.

Any hints or suggestions that don't involve using the next 28 days to convert the thousands of legacy fireworks files to photoshop?

Fireworks is discontinued.  That community forum gets almost no activity anymore.

1. Do you have a PAID ALL APPS Creative Cloud plan?  Only paid all apps plan holders have access to discontinued products like Fireworks.

2. It goes without saying, you need an operating system to support it.  For example, 32-bit apps won't work on Catalina.

3. In CC Desktop App, turn on the option to Show Older Apps.  See screenshots.

4.  With All Apps selected in the left side panel,  Fireworks CS6 is towards the bottom.

Post back if you have any questions.

Is this a Teams/Enterprise account?  If so, contact your IT dept admin and request a special Fireworks package.
