i posted earlier regarding the Studio suite which I bought in 2011 .... it shows in my account but there is no download link. I have not been using for a long time but now I would like to download and install it ...  kglad has been very helpful indeed but we could not solve it so he suggested I contact you and you might be able to help.  Here are some notes from the original post.

you should be able to use links from your account if you login using the same id you used to register it, https://www.adobe.com/account.html

Thanks for your quick reply, this is what I thought but there is no download link in the My Products section - maybe I am missing it but I cannot find download links anywhere else in my account ...

are you using the same id now as you used when you registered you product?

I have gtwo accounts, one UK and one for Spain. This did cause some issues when i originally bought Photoshop and Lightroom but this was sorted out, so my Spanish account became the main account with my products in it. When i was checking earlier, all products were showing - photoshop, lightoom and Studio 7. All without download links but I have copies on file of photshop and Lightroom, but not Studio 7.

------------------------------------

Since then I have tried deleting my cache (Chrome) and using a different browser (IE11) but the problem remains the same. I suspect it is something to do with the originalmix up in the UK and Spanish accounts when i bought the products but really not sure. I am not too worried about them being available permanently in my online account - i'd just like to have a copy of the Studio Suite i can download. I can use the activation code from my account as that is showing OK.

Correct answer Jeffrey_A_Wright

However, I did purchase it from Adobe.

As I understand you from your previous posts on this issue (http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1364641), Studio 7 (which you're seeking to download) is Studio MX 2004. That was Macromedia software.

I'm not sure how you purchased this in 2011 since the software was long superseded by then. Studio MX 2004 was sold by Macromedia in 2004 - before their acquisition by Adobe.

Adobe has never sold Studio MX 2004.

Adobe does not offer any Macromedia software for download although they do provide new serial numbers for legacy Macromedia software since the activation servers were decommissioned. The new serial numbers allow you to continue to use your Macromedia software indefinitely.

Thank you John and Kevin for the additional clarification.

Kevin if you ordered Photoshop and Lightroom from Adobe directly and are no longer seeing the download option please contact our support team to re-enable the download.  You can contact our chat support at http://adobe.ly/yxj0t6.  As long as the purchases for Photoshop and Lightroom were for recent versions, and you choose the download option at the time of purchase, then the download should be able to be enabled under your account.

John's post above is accurate regarding downloading Macromedia software.

Kevinr51 sorry for the delay as I have been out for the holiday.  If I understand correct you are inquiring if there is a location for you to download Studio 7?  If so then I am sorry but I do not know of any sources for these installation files.

Registering the software and having it available for download are to separate processes.  Software only becomes available for download under your account if you purchase the title from Adobe directly.  The download then becomes tied to your account at the time of purchase.

Registering the software helps you protect your software license by tying it to your account details.

Please let me know if I can provide any additional details.

Thanks for your reply Jeff. However, I did purchase it from Adobe. I also purchased my Photshop and Lightroom directly from Adobe and they also do not show download links.I am not at home at present so I do not have access to the files where I might be able to find receipts, but I must have them somewhere, or bank records at least. Woudl it be best if I repost here when I have this?
