For Windows 8: install PSE10 with Windows or Windows 7 instructions?

I have Windows 8. The PSE10 instructions give an option for Windows (start with installation CD # 1) and then for Windows 7 64 bit (start with installation CD #2). I inadvertendly went with CD #1. Since Windows 8 is 64 bit, should I go back and uninstal PSE10 and reinstall with Windwos 7 64 bit instructions?

if pse10 is working well, leave it alone.

if there's a problem are speed is a big issue, uninstall and retry with the 64 bit pse.
