Format of Electronic Software Deliveries for PC?

Hi,

(Not sure if I'm posting in the right forum, can't find a 'market' or 'ESD-related problem' section)

our office is considering buying Adobe CS6 (either Master Collection or the Design&Web Premium) for PC/Win platform, but we don't know what we should favour as for the delivery : either a physical disc (ready to use) or the ESD option (which would save some time for shipping). In the latter case, can the downloaded files be burnt on disc (DVD?) to recreate a normal physical installation media, as well as for backup purposes so we don't have to re-download everything again in case of reinstall?

Does it come as a 7-zip archive as the trial version we've been evaluating, or a ready-to-burn disk image?

Thanks in advance.

You can choose either of them but as you mentioned, the fastest and the convenient way will be ESD.

For Windows, the ESD comes with an exe file and a 7z file. You can extract it and write it to disc.
