Question

Freezes while saving a PDF in Acrobat

For the last 30 days or so, my MacBook Pro freezes when I try to save a PDF that is already open.  Last night the same issue, but additional Acrobat pops up a window that I need to sign in to my Adobe account. After doing so several times, the window kept popping up.  I have a CC account, and my sign in work well on my iMac.  Do you have any suggestions on how to address these issues on my MacBook?

Yes, I have the full Creative Suite subscriptions. I have signed out and logged back in; restarted the MacBook. I still receive the popup for that I need to sign into Adobe.

Hi

  • And you Quit the CC app after signing out, right?

  • Do you have the same issue with the other Adobe apps that you use?
  • Click the icon with your avatar, then click Adobe Account. Do you see anything there? (Don't post personal information here.)

Hi

To confirm:

You have a Creative Cloud subscription, not just a subscription to Acrobat DC Pro? And the freeze happens only on your MacBook Pro, not your iMac?

The first thing to try is signing out of the CC app, then quit the app, reopen, sign in again.
