Question

Freezing installation Lightroom CC

Trying to install Lightroom CC on Win7pro PC but freezes at 85%. No error codes, but Adobe Desktop Service.exe is running all the time at 12% of processor usage (i7, 4810). Already performed an uninstall with same result.

Strange enough LR starts correctly (while indicating being installed for 85%) whereas Photoshop stays in the que for installation.

Anybody suggestions?

Hi Winfried, kindly check the log files and see if you find any errors there: Troubleshoot install issues with log files | CS5, CS5.5, CS6

Additionally you can try to install in new admin user account.

Hi Atul,

Thank you for your sugestions. I checked the log files and did not find a single error. I deinstalled all CC components, run Ccleaner for register and temporary files cleaning, renamed OOBE folder  in C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files, made a new user account and tried to install photoshop CC (trial).

Same as Lightroom CC: installation did run untill 85% without errors in log file and then stopped. I am able to run photoshop but still the Adobe Desktop Service.exe is running in the background for 12% of the processor capacity.

If you have more suggestions to try...
