Fresh install CS4 not updating

I just did a fresh install of CS4 on OSX Mavericks. I know I'm supposed to check for some updates. Adobe Updater keeps telling me no updates found. What gives?

    Please be aware you run the software not compatible with this version! So this can cause all kind of issues.

    Also blocking adobe domains in the hosts file can be a root cause.Sign in, activation, or connection errors | CS5.5 and later point 3.

    General advice, use a update to CC to ensure it runs correctly on OS X 10.9.x Good luck!
