From cs5 windows to cs5 mac?

I purchased CS5 for windows a year ago and now i'd like to buy a mac computer, how do i proceed to reinstall cs5 on mac? Do i just need to download CS5 for mac and enter my actual (windows) serial number?

No, you need to upgrade to CS6 and make a platform swap. Serial numbers are language and platform specific, so your Windows serial is no use on a Mac.

And does the price stays the same as if i upgraded cs6 for windows or is it more expensive just because i swap platform?

The upgrade price is the same. The platform doesn't matter. You just need to handle this through Adobe directly to obtain the correct serial numbers.
