Genuine Adobe reader download link ?

Hello,

I downloaded Adobe Reader with this link : https://get.adobe.com/reader/?loc=fr but installation didn't work.

After that, I used another link which works fine.

So I wonder if the link and the exe file in it are okay (not a virus) ? Because I don't find this link on any Adobe section. I think they are but I don't manage to fully convince myself.

Thank you for your answer and yes, I am french so have a french link download is okay for me !

Unfortunately, the forum seems to be in english only so I wrote my request in english.

But this particular link doesn't exist anywhere on Adobe, only in research engine so I am a bit worried and it will be a relief if someone (maybe an employee ?) confirms the link is not a scam / virus but only an old one not available on Adobe site anymore.

Be sure to remain signed in with your Adobe ID before accessing the link
Do be aware that Adobe's staffing is impacted by the virus, so wait times are long
