Getting a New Laptop. Will Adobe CS5 Work?

I'm getting or thinking about getting a new laptop depending on the answer to this question i guess.

I'm wondering does Adobe CS5 work on windows 8 and does it work how its supposed to?

for the most part, it will work. you can always use compatibility mode to install it.

you may have some peripherals or plugins that do not work with all apps, though.

na i have 0 plug ins or add ons so all should be good then.

I haven't been on this site for a long time but i do remember

that to install CS5 (or maybe it was upgrade, i'm not sure) i had a serial number or something on here in my

profile but it's no longer there or i can't find it.

Do i need that serial number?

I still have both cs4 and cs5 discs, i can't remember if the serial

is in with the box or what..
