I have read through the forms, manually downloaded the 6.4 update. Get error code U44M1P7 at 99%.  The other option is do uninstall program and reinstall.

No explanation on if you loose pictures or not.

How does one get the latest update to Lightroom....

Simply no real help.  Hard to find the section to even PAY for help.  This is beyond madding.  Adobe, fix your programs.  You CSI scores should be the lowest of low by reading all the people who can not find answer to their issues.  You make people spend hours trying to fix your programs.

Correct answer Govardhan.V

1) Right click on Finder icon and  select "Go-To" Folder option.
  2) You will get a text box, type-in below command and then hit 'Return' key.( " Do not miss ~ symbol " )

~/library

It will open User Library folder.

3)Then navigate to Application Support>Adobe.

Under Adobe folder locate AAMUpdater.

Did you downloaded updates and tried to install manually ?

Where is Option 1 located.  I can not find it.

Mac OS

~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/AAMUpdater

Option 2 does not work

Option 3, seems drastic, do you need to move your pictures so they are not lost?
