Gifting Photoshop Question

Hey, everyone!

I am considering gifting a one-year plan of the photography module. The person getting the gift does not currently have the software or an adobe account. I could not find a specific gifting option on the site so:

If I go through the purchase giving my email, will the purchase be locked to my account?

or

do I just get a serial code that can by activated when they get their account up and running?

Thanks & Happy Holidays!

I think that if you purchase the Plan directly, the plan will be setup under the Adobe ID used.

Do you have prepaid key cards available where you are? That would be a surefire way of assuring your recipient actually gets a CC plan.

(Example, for Amazon US customers: Amazon.com: Adobe Creative Cloud Photography plan (Photoshop CC + Lightroom) [Prepaid Card]: Software ; we can get key cards locally too at places like Best Buy and Staples here in the USA.)

Happy Holidays to you too!

Thanks for the response.

Tried looking around some and only found Photoshop Elements packages. I am outside of the US, btw.

Seems I will just have to tell the person that I will set this up for them and pay while I set up their account
