Hi there--I recently got a new desktop (mac), and downloaded Creative Cloud right away.  Photoshop updated and downloaded perfectly, but I'm having an issue getting Bridge to open.  I clicked to update it as well, and it is stuck saying "finishing" and doesn't seem to change.  Whenever I try to open the app, I just get an error message.  Anyone know how to troubleshoot this?  I'm very anxious to use this big screen of mine here for some photo editing and get away from the little laptop screen, but I need Bridge!

Please try the steps below:

1. Uninstall the Adobe CC desktop app from the machine (https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-creative-cloud-desktop-app.html)

2. Set the permissions to 'Read and write' on Adobe folders for the all the users in the following locations:

   a. /Library/Application Support/

   b. /Users/[user name]/Library/Application Support/

3. Restart the machine.

4. Install the Adobe CC desktop app (Creative Cloud Help | Creative Cloud for desktop)

Hi Kelly,

Can you please specify the error message or post a screenshot of the same?

What OS are you using?

You may refer to the threads below where the similar issue has been addressed:

My app install is stuck on Finishing...

CC is stuck on "finishing..." when I downloaded PS months ago.

I'm using OS X Yosemite.  The error message states that there is a problem running the software with this current version and that I may need to reinstall.  Does that mean that I can't use it?  I already tried to uninstall and start again, but I'm getting error messages with that as well.
