Question

Got MacBook Pro (OSX 10.7.2) and can't use install disks from my old computer

I get the error message "You can't open the application Adobe Installer.app because PowerPC applications are no longer supported.

I used Adobe CS5  on my old MAC Air which used the same operating system, so I don't see why I can't reload on this system.

Chickefitzgerald did you just copy the applications from the Macbook Air to the Macbook Pro?  If so I would recommend removing the software, you can try using the uninstallers located in the Utilities folder inside the Adobe Installers folder, and then reinstall from the installation media.  Or do you no longer have access to the installation media?
