Has anyone had problems installing the Lightroom 4 updgrade from a disk on a PC?

I am trying to upgrade from Lightroom 3  Lightroom 4 on a PC, but I can not get the computer to execute the upgrade?  Has anyone encountered this before?

    Jim,

    Please provide some more specifics on how you are trying to install the upgrade(where did you download the installer file from, the error message you get when you try to install the upgrade and other relevant info).

    Perhaps, perhaps not. You did not provide any info about your system nor any otehr specifics, so this is not going anywhere. It works for 99.95 of all users and any problems are always specific.
