    Unfortunately, the serial number is vital to being able to use the software.  Without it you have nothing that ties the software to you as the owner... that's why it is always best to register your software (any software).

    The only other thing I can offer is to point you to information for finding your serial number.  If you son't have any of what's listed then you are likely out of luck with getting any further assitance in the forum(s).  Adobe Support (chat or by phone) will be your only hope.

    If you registered the software the serial number could be in your online account information.

    I did not register it. That is the problem. My laptop crashed so I need to reinstall. Adobe support has been worthless. 4 times they say via the chat line they would transfer me to someone who can help.
